Welcome to Mystic Falls! Elena and the gang are all graduated and off to college, ecstatic that they were finally able to get rid of Silas once and for all...or so they think. They also believe Stefan has lost contact due to Elena choosing Damon over him but instead, it happens to be that he is trapped in a safe, in the bottom of the lake, left to drown over and over again while Silas is walking around in his true form, looking exactly like Stefan and it's only a matter of time before he finally reveals himself and goes after what he really wants, the cure, which is inside Katherine's blood and if that wasn't enough, Bonnie, who is making Jeremy help her pretend to be alive to Elena and the others, is actually dead. They're all having the time of their lives now but how long until they come back to reality and find out what's really going on?
As if Silas wouldn't be enough for the world to deal with, Lucifer has also risen back from the cage along with Michael so the Winchester's have to find out how to put him back in the cage, as if they didn't have enough on their plate as it was. After all, Dean is still left with the Mark of Cain and even though he is no longer a Demon, there's no saying he won't become one again. Will Team Free Will be able to save him AND put Lucifer back or will we have to face the Apocalypse once and for all?
